Wards Ap Biology Lab 5 Cell Respiration Answers

A Poor Old Misunderstood

Yesterday I spent to buy Christmas presents, of course via the Internet. The family that grows and grows and there is already a small army of nephews and nieces, timidly putting (now) the human phenomenon of expectations.

remember the words of a priest about the loss of the Christian meaning of Christmas. Yet this sense was never very clear, was established as the year Jesus was born approximately 345 AD, before that corresponded to the pagan celebrations of winter solstice, as Roman festivals of Saturn, the god of agriculture, and in general to the resurgence of the sun after the longest night. I can assume it was a pagan holiday date almost since man is man, that is at least about 8 thousand years, and a Christian holiday about 1665 years.

Anyway, I like giving gifts, beyond things, the practice of giving away something is hopeful, it is the opposite of selfishness and therefore opposed to the economic system which forces us to live. You need to teach our children (and adults) to give, to be specialists in giving, a fun gift, not as a display of what we have nor fortune smiles now but as an exercise the perspective that you have about material things and your relationship with them.

why I find it very valuable picture of Father Christmas, against everything that most say in terms of a materialist assumption. A person who has dedicated his life to give, without saving anything for him, and whose main motivation is to surprise and give happiness and hope to those who behaved well, that support life on values \u200b\u200band principles such as solidarity, search truth and happiness of others. Very early I knew I was not real, and the exercise of each year was to see how they managed to make us believe my parents actually happened, strategic Aunt that took us to a room with some excuse or go look at the stable neighbor because insurance was lost, at which passed through the house and filled the packages tree. I even remember a guy stripping spent lining the street and my parents said the old man was in such a hurry that he left the gifts on the street outside the house: D Well

why I leave these videos, to bend a Santa Claus too nice, Australian creator Steven Casey, and paying tribute to this poor old man misunderstood, yet it gives me no less than an idol and an example for these materialistic times. Greetings to all and a very merry Christmas!

International Origami Happy Day! Valparaiso

had no idea that there was an International Day of Origami. Born as an initiative of the American Association Origami USA, in conjunction with the British Origami Society. In Japan there was already a day of Origami, November 11, the day the traditional crane was installed as the official symbol of peace. It was thought at that time for an international celebration, however, in the Anglo world on November 11 marks the Veteran's Day (the Origami is not without irony).

was chosen Oct. 24, the birthday of Lillian Oppenheimer (1898-1992), founder in 1958 of the first group of American Origami: FOCA (Friends of Origami Center of America ", which is then transformed into Origami USA), was made up, besides her, Isao Honda of Japan and Harbin Robert England, she later was a member founder of the British Origami Society in 1967.

In South America the earliest references we find to Dr. Vicente Solorzano Sagredo (founder of the Museum of origami in Argentina in 1954, closed in 1961), Ligia Montoya (Argentina) and Adolfo Cerceda (Argentina).

Due to his enthusiasm and vitality to the time to spread this art, Lillian Oppenheimer is considered the true "mother" of origami in the West, however, still seems to me that the choice of date is not sufficiently integrated in a global context. Seems reasonable November 11 (Veterans forgive me), it is also a date associated with the search for peace and art is ultimately an act of communication and understanding between people.

Origami USA's proposal and the BOS is to be held from today 24 to 11 November the International Day Origami. So, by joining it, I decided to present a new series of videos, to fold a beautiful horse Mijayima Noboru Japanese operator, whose diagram is in website. Hope you enjoy: D

I send a giant origami greeting to the world and especially to those who dare to try this game for the first time!

What Are Good Business Names For Apple Juice

2009 by the World Peace

A year has completed a busy year. Personally many emotions and changes, some sad, for members of our group has been more or less the same, the stress of a difficult year, multiple trips and new friendships and folded. Suddenly we arrived in August, and our annual convention took form and substance in the beautiful and historic port of Valparaiso. Tomorrow begins a new meeting with friends, a beautiful exhibition (open to anyone wishing to visit in the City), workshops, joys and challenges. And all the better start with a calling for peace and an end to the wars in the world.

August 6 recalls the fall of the first atomic bomb in human history, in the city of Hiroshima in 1945, killing at that time to 120 thousand people and contaminated with radiation over 300 thousand more ... In this date around the world gather individuals who symbolically hang paper cranes to demand peace to our authorities and proclaim as the path of humanity, following the example of a 11 year old Japanese girl named Sadako, who wanted to fold a thousand of these figures and pray for all victims of war, and yet died of radiation in October 1955 without achieving its mission.

This Thursday will post thousands of these figures in memory of Sadako, an act that is part of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence . The official ceremony will be held on August 6 at 12 pm in the plaza adjacent to Arco British Avenida Brasil. If you want to reach out and fold your crane or take I leave you the instructions for folding, is very simple and hopefully will be a colorful event to request a future with hope for world peace.

Implantation Bleeding Fraternal Twins

Folded In Life

last week we had an unexpected encounter and motivating. Passing through Chile was a member of the English Association of Origami, Olga de Pedro, fantastic, enthusiastic and cheerful. We sent an email to the lot and some who could escape went to see her at the hotel the day before he left home. In his eyes and in his speech you could see coming from a wonderful trip, by the glaciers and ice Aysen, the Patagonian steppes of the end of the world and the Atacama desert unique. And we sat down to talk about origami ... to tell experiences, introduce ourselves and tell the group, some things we've done, possible travel, talk of roles and realities.

Suddenly, as I said Olga, put faces to names, to what you post in forums, photos of figures that are seen here and there, I felt more than ever the need for English-language magazine, to circulate and be distributed throughout Spain and Latin, so we had a closer community, we met and we recognized in photos and news from Colombia, Nicaragua, Peru, Zaragoza, Burgos and Madrid, say for example "there is Johnny, look, you shakes hands with the president ", or" Duck looks Theseus Kunz made a head of Medusa hanging impressive. "

On the anniversary of our group a few weeks ago, we held a video conference with children in Colombia and it was exciting, it was like sitting in the same living and be part of your reality, as if we were one group of friends ...

essential travel but among them, the void of missing friends, know what they're up, what they are folding, new figures have created what must be filled somehow, which warn of conventions and projects, which discuss the theory, and present new and young talents, in short, what is a magazine. Internet is fine, but nothing compares to a paper magazine, carried in a backpack, watch with love and turn pages in that year that we like to take a sheet and move with caution, giving way to the secrets and behind-every page.

The idea we have discussed many times, important artists have shown their enthusiasm for participating. In this thought as I listened to Olga and drank my beer, I soon found a small square of paper tucked in the pages of the book that Olga had with him, I took it and almost without thinking I began to fold.

The Swan of Pasquale D'Auria

The world is a complex but with space for simplicity, in the course of a lifetime gives us many moments simple and powerful: a laugh, an intelligent response, the instant pleasure of music that makes everything suddenly makes sense and purpose, I venture to think, for me at least, that is in them much more happiness the elaborate plans we make for life. Among the many figures that are available free on the Internet, most are simple and the plots rarely exceed 30 - 40 steps, however, are a fascinating source to find these figures amazing and full of beauty, aesthetic sense and elegance. A few months ago I put an entry in one of those figures, the beautiful American squirrel Perry Bailey, and now I do the same with this incredible Swan, whose diagram is available at the site of the English Association of Origami .

One of the features I like most about this figure is three-dimensional volume, which is never considered when qualifying the origami figures but it is vital, from the minute we live in a world where objects are more than a photograph or a diagram. Models that only look good from certain angles, which have multi ugly sides breaking the magic. It is not the case in this figure, that beyond the shell hovering below is displayed as a beautiful swan about to fly. The author is Italian Pasquale D'Auria and it also lies the challenge of achieving its curves and elegance. It has been automatically converted into one of my favorites. I invite you, fiercely, to bend, to love and give it as a miracle.
