Calphalon Tastes Funny

Origami World's End

The Third International Convention of Origami Chile culminated last Sunday in the southern city of Purranque and we had an incredible time. While we were a few less than last year and missed the great friends who could not realize the trip for economic reasons, everything was perfect and we had great experiences, high level exposure, excellent workshops, an impressive book (three tracks: Roman Diaz, Nicholas Terry, Daniel Naranjo, among many others) and a huge amount of time to share and grow in origami.

exposure.

Origami Chile, Colombia and Argentina arrived to Purranque to mount a major exhibition with works from different countries and high level, including the beautiful collection that we sent our friends in Colombia, the work of Patrick Kunz on Kamiya figures, the modular Noelia Beatriz Avila Gonzalez of Argentina and Chile, great works of Nicolás Gajardo (one of our funds), whose impressive eagle hunter took the prize for best figure of the Convention, the figures of Chilean fauna Michael Kaiser and many, many others, including introduced (humbly) my Takashi Hoji Icarus Aconcagua paper 91x91 cm and a Unicorn Roman Diaz on the same paper, along with some old folds.

Workshops.

The Papermaking Workshop, Michael Kaiser, Box-Pleating Optimized, Nico Gajardo, the Flexicubo, which gave Meri Affranchino of Argentina, Origami Spiral, Noel, highlighted along with many others with great results. At least this year I ended up with students in the room lol (otherwise excellent students:)).

The Feast of the Sabbath.

Just a couple of photos to give you an idea of \u200b\u200bhow it was: D ...

El Paseo Puyehue National Park.

Perhaps the best work of the Convention, taking advantage of the proximity of one of the most beautiful National Parks and Biodiversity of Chile, the last day I spend on travel evergreen forests and landscapes of stunning beauty, a reminder that we all carry in our hearts.

But even beyond all these experiences, again the most valuable of the meeting were those who attended, was an intimate encounter, full of friendship and partnership that filled us with strength and energy for projects we have in the future as an organization. From here I send a hug to all of them and I hope the next game we are all more the friends could not attend this year.

If you wish, you can visit the gallery with all the pictures I took this year.
A big hello to everyone.
